We feel very fortunate to have this group at our reunion.
Private Domain was formed in San Diego in 1985 by vocalist/guitarist/songwriter Paul Shaffer and guitarist/vocalist/ songwriter Jack Butler. In the early 80s the name of the band was Bratz, which had a huge local following.
They have been a consistent Southern California live attraction, performing regularly at many top SD venues including Harrah's Casino, Viejas Casino, Dick’s Last Resort, Humphrey’s, and many private and corporate events.
Private Domain has a well-rounded, versatile entertainment package. With Paul Shaffer (once voted San Diego's Entertainer of the Year) as lead singer and frontman, and an impressive song list that includes the very best danceable Classic Rock songs as well as R&B, Blues, Reggae, and a touch of Country, this tremendous musical versatility makes them ideal for our reunion.
Private Domain has also had their music appear in several major motion pictures, as well as having had a radio hit with their song "Absolute Perfection."
At the reunion's Saturday event, our classmate Evans Kontopils will join the band for a few songs.
